Contemporary - Art

Strictly speaking, the term "Contemporary" art is art produced at the present period in time. Contemporary art includes, and develops from, postmodern art, which is itself a successor to modern art. Contemporary art does not have one, single objective or point of view. Themes can include: identity politics, the body, globalization and migration, technology, contemporary society and culture, time and memory, and institutional and political critique.
